Jan Agnello has been a full time employee of the Millcreek Township Sewer and Water Authorities since May 1978 and has consistently been a key contributor to the growth and successful operations of the sewer system (19,300 accounts) and the water system (7,400 accounts). Jan has always been our "Go To" person for policies and procedures, as well as historical facts and figures. Without Jan, we would have a hard time finding where anything is filed!

In addition to her duties as Executive Assistant, which also includes handling all confidential personnel related matters; Jan serves as Secretary of the Millcreek Township Water Authority. Jan is the current PMAA Region 8 Director, which under her leadership, Region 8 has become a greater resource and networking group. Since 1978 she previously assisted past Region 8 Directors (Max Gill, John Agnello, Fred Hoffing, Randy Sanders, Barry Baker and Dave Wright) with coordinating and hosting Region 8 meetings and social activities. Jan has also served on the PMAA Annual Conference spouse's program committee since 1998, contributing to the success of the annual conferences and has served on the Membership Committee as a member and more recently as Committee Chairman.

In regard to her community and organization contributions, Jan has been an active participant with the following:

Girard Athletic Boosters Club - member for 25 years, 2 years as Chairman and 5 years as Secretary. Jan helped develop the scholarship program and was selected Booster of the Year.

Den mother for Cub Scouts for 3 years.

Millcreek Township Employee's Association for 10 years, 2 years as Chairman, 3 years as Secretary.

Millcreek Township Federal Credit Union Board of Directors for 5 years 15 additional years served and held various other positions. Total time served - 25 years.

Republican Women's Committee and poll worker for various candidates.

Erie Christian Women's Group, served 3 years on Board.

Member of Professional Women, Inc.

Active member of church, serving on many committees and as a Eucharist Minister for 25 years.

With her husband, John, a Life Member of PMAA, Jan has demonstrated her high moral and ethical values through 57 years of marriage, raising 5 children and loving her 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

In conclusion, Jan's moto: When you need something done — ask a busy woman and she will get it done.
