John Tucker retired from General Motors after 41 years as a Safety Professional, he also taught safety programs and was overseer of safety programs within the workplace. For 35 years, John has served on North & South Shenango Joint Authority Board and the Jamestown Area School Board.
Titusville, in Crawford County, gave birth to the modern oil industry and site of the first oil well drilled in 1859. Sharon in Mercer County is home to some of the world's largest family owned and operated retail stores of their kind. These stores have been featured on the Travel Channel, David Letterman, and more. Daffin's, the world's largest candy store features a wonderful selection of homemade chocolates, candies, cards, and gifts since 1949. In Hermitage, Mercer County, you can see one of the largest displays of American flags flying anywhere in the world, day or night at the Avenue of Flags & War on Terror Veterans Memorial. Visiting the Drake Well Museum in Titusville is a great way to learn about the area’s oil history. The movie “That Thing You Do” starring Tom Hanks and Liv Tyler takes place in Erie, PA. Visit Presque Isle State Park, which used to be Fort Presque Isle, constructed in 1753 by the French.
