Medical marijuana is legal in Pennsylvania but remains illegal under federal law. With over half of all states and Washington DC enacting laws to legalize it medically, or even recreationally, employers are facing new issues regarding employee marijuana use and how such use might impact existing drug-free workplace policies. Attend this presentation for a lively discussion intended to hit some high notes and smoke out some answers.

Stormwater Management Issues for Pennsylvania Municipalities

Stormwater has become one of Pennsylvania’s most important environmental issues to local governments, both within and outside the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. This session will focus on both federal and state laws and regulations addressing stormwater issues, including stormwater compliance. This session will also feature a discussion on changes to DEP’s stormwater program, including the 2018 impending changes to DEP’s general MS4 permit. Solicitor Hann will also discuss recent case law involving a myriad of stormwater issues, TMDL-related issues, as well as an update on the implementation of a municipal stormwater program, including funding and the creation of stormwater authorities
