Borough Manager - Hanover (York County), Pennsylvania

Plant Supervisor - Wastewater / Water Treatment

Local firm has an immediate opening for a Facility Supervisor for a municipal wastewater / water system in Manheim, Lancaster Co, PA.

Duties include supervision of wastewater and water staff, ensuring that NPDES parameters are met, coordination of a Septage Receiving system and Biosolids handling program, and overseeing the facilities Maintenance program.  Occasionally will involve hands-on operation and maintenance of the water distribution and sewer collection systems.

PA wastewater and/or water license and valid drivers license is required.

Must be experienced in multiple wastewater processes, solids handling, collection systems, IPP and all facets of supervision and management.  Must have demonstrated process and management experience.  Mechanical, electrical and computer skills (Word and Excel) critical.

Resident Project Representative/Process Engineer

As part of a $120 million dollar collection system and treatment facility upgrade project, the Williamsport Sanitary Authority (WSA) is seeking a qualified individual for a professional staff position initially responsible for various construction, inspection, and contract documentation functions at the WSA’s wastewater treatment plants. The person shall generally report to the lead engineering contractor resident project representative. It is required that the successful applicant reside in or in proximity to the WSA service area. Education and experience shall include Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, science or technology related to wastewater treatment with 4 years of increasingly responsible experience in work involving construction or plant processes in a wastewater treatment plant or similar process operation, and computer data processing skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Access).

Water Treatment Plant Operator

THE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ROBINSON is accepting resumes for one (1) full-time water treatment plant operator.  The Authority owns and operates a 6 million gallon per day capacity water treatment plant that utilizes the Ohio River for its source water.

 The operator will be assigned to work the second shift at the plant.  The shifts hours and days are 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.  The duties of the position consist of water quality sampling, process control, data collection and various other operational as well as maintenance tasks.

 Preference will be given to candidates possessing a PA water treatment plant certification.  The position includes an attractive wage and benefit package.
