Webinar:

Asset Management: Getting More Out of What You've Got!

Nearly everyone understands the benefits of a preventative maintenance program and a capital improvement plan.  But those programs can only go so far in ensuring your utility’s reliability and sustainability. Identifying critical assets, assessing their condition, determining their remaining useful life and developing a financial plan for replacing these assets is the focus of this webinar.

The presentation will include:

  • A step by step approach to getting an asset management program off the ground using low cost tools and techniques

  • How using the program will help refine an existing capital improvement plan or allow you to create a new one

  • How looking at the long term critical infrastructure needs will assist in the more efficient scoping of future projects

  • Discussions on the importance of stakeholder involvement, communications, and determining the financial impact

We will also be discussing the benefits of using current technology as a tool to help manage data, make periodic adjustments to schedule and costs and provide a better understanding of how capital projects can improve financial performance, rate stability, and system reliability.
